Welcome to The Moribund, I'm a resident Cryptid/Goth Vampire and this is where i'll be gushing about my silly little interests and hyperfixations.
It's an intimidating task writing a website, theres so much space and so much I could fill it with. More content will come in time as I learn.
The Moribund is an alias for both myself and the platforms in which I reside. I have always been drawn towards the more bleaker things in life
and started to officially adopt the title of "goth" in 2019, despite this I have been a metalhead since a child, progressively getting into more extreme
genres over time - my favourites being BM/DSBM, Doom and Groove.
My musical interest has been subdued over the past few years, going from the angry and pained themes of BM to a more introspective and
melancholic tone explored in early goth and post-punk. Despite all this, I do tend to explore musical genres and don’t limit myself to those
mentioned.
I'm obviously enthusiastic about music, however I also enjoy;
✢Digital Art
✢Photography
✢Gothic Literature/Films
✢Fashion & Make-up
✢Architecture
✢Nature
I'm best known for being either; 1. The well-dressed and cool vampire man, or 2. That one edgy weirdo that goes to the shop dressed as a
vampire (It's a matter of one’s perspective really ¬_¬). That being said, clothing has been an emerging interest for me in the past few years
and my recent endeavours have me trying to create vampire-styled outfits avoiding the costume-like apparel that is now widely available
and seeking clothes more faithful to the intended aristocratic look. Eventually I'd like to create a vampire-themed capsule wardrobe focused
around the Tudor, Edwardian and Victorian eras.
It is I, The Moribund. I am Goth and Metalhead whomst likes to draw, dress up, and listen to music.
In a new age of corporate internet and the emergence of AI I have grown sick and saught to return to a more simple time.
This page will be an ever evolving platform in which I aim to share my hobbies and gothic lifestyle.
